•Walt Disney owns various merchandise which creates profit.

 They can be bought at Disney stores worldwide,


online on shops such as amazon or on the Disney Website www.Disney.com  or in Walt Disney theme parks such as Disneyland Paris or Disneyland Florida.


Disney make a massive profit of $2.2 billion a year on their merchandise which shows just how successful merchandise is to Disney's profit.

This includes:

•Disney toys and figures- The best selling figurine set is from the film Frozen (2013)

•films - From the list of highest grossing films that Walt Disney have created (which I found on Wikipedia) The highest grossing film with     $1,287,000,000 worldwide gross is Frozen.                           

•Books- The most popular book ever produced by Walt Disney is the classic Beauty and The Beast.

Magazines- Magazines that Walt Disney create range for all age genre such as Disney Junior for a younger audience. •

With Mickey Mouse and other Disney products everywhere on a decline in 2000, Andrew Mooney became the head of DCP and created Disney Princess franchise in January 2000. Other products that were created the Disney Couture fashion line, Disney furniture, princess inspired bridal gowns . consumer products began to expand with agreements with food companies such as Kellogg Company for a Disney themed cereal line launched in 2002.
