P1-E-Learners investigate an insitution of their choice: Walt Disney

P1-E-
Disney
faces a number of competitors in its various segments. Some of the main media conglomerates with which Disney competes include Viacom Inc., Time Warner Inc. Twenty-First Century Fox, CBS, and Comcast.

This chart shows a clear comparison between Disney and its competitors.

Warner Bros is a company founded in 1923 in Hollywood and is one of Disney's closest competitors.

•Warner Bros and Disney are competitors, but according to the statisitcs I have found, Disney $134,456 billion Market Value while Warner Bros is below them at $63 billion. This shows that Disney make a larger profit than Warner bros and are a more popular company.

Time Warner (Warner Bros) has 165 cable channels in 200 countries including CNN and cartoon network.

Their home box office has 168 million subscribers worldwide.
However, when looking at Disney's portfolio it comes out stronger due to: Its media networks such as ESPN, Disney, Lucasfilm and Pixar.
Parkers and resorts worldwide.
Consumer products
and Interactive, which creates video games.
Disney, has a wider range of segments to create more profit that Time Warner lack ,such as Parks and resorts and its higher market value, therefore I strongly believe that Disney is the stronger competitor.
